For the first time it's possible to purchase admission tickets in advance. The package costs £10 per person, per day and includes fast track admission, a commemorative glass tankard and two beer tokens (three tokens if you enter before 5pm on Thursday or Friday or at anytime on Saturday). The tickets can be used at any time - you do not have to specify a day or time when booking.

  By post - to buy tickets by post, simply send a cheque for £10 per person, made payable to 'Nottingham CAMRA', with a stamped addressed envelope to 17 Penarth Rise, Sherwood, Nottingham NG5 4EE  
     
 
Entry details for under 18's
  
 
Under 18s will be allowed into the castle grounds during the castle's
normal opening hours, which are 10am to 4pm. There will be no charge
for entry if accompanying an adult to the beer festival (there would
normally be a charge to enter the castle grounds for children). Under
18s will not be allowed into the main beer tent, but on Friday and
Saturday they will be able to use the adjoining hospitality tent (on
Thursday this is not available as it is being used for the SIBA competition).

After 4pm anyone aged under 18 will not be allowed to enter the
castle grounds and those already admitted will be asked to leave,
along with the (non-festival attending) general public.

This policy is a condition of CAMRA being allowed to use the site for
the festival and reflects the recent clampdown by police and the
local authority on under age drinking. The system will be policed by
the use of wristbands which will be required to enter the main beer
tent, to purchase a glass and tokens and to buy a beer.
